salinnToday was the start of my annual tax convention, and I had an 8 hour class on Trust returns, estates, and 1041's, that ran over by 30 minutes (the speaker was excited about the topic). Fortunately, I managed to stay awake.
There was a cap on the mountain again today. That means rain. I hadn't really heard there was going to be rain, but sure enough, it's supposed to rain not tomorrow night, but Friday night into Saturday. Last time there was a cap on the mountain the forecast said sprinkles and it poured so hard and I was at camp on the boat dock, so I'm expecting big things this time. Sounds like thunderstorms overnight Friday. :( I don't like those much, they keep me awake.
A while back I posted that lots of people I knew were getting engaged. This week, it's divorce. The most recent one I've heard about makes 3. I guess being single has some good to it. I truly hope that all the people involved, especially the kids, can work through these times and move forward as smoothly as possible. So sad when things like this happen, but I believe that there's a plan and everyone in time will see what that purpose is.
